Mori Seimenjo

Founded in 1917, Mori Seimenjo is dedicated to uncompromising quality, producing cotton products such as futons and zabutons using raw cotton imported and processed in their own factory. Our strength lies in handcrafted, made-to-order production, allowing us to meet custom requests with great flexibility.
We are highly sought after by prestigious ryokan (traditional Japanese inns), restaurants, temples, shrines, and theaters across Japan. As our products are made entirely from plant-based materials, demand from vegan communities, especially in Europe and North America, has been increasing in recent years.
With growing awareness of cotton traceability, we have earned GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, the global standard for organic textiles. Our commitment to producing safe, high-quality cotton products has earned us strong trust both domestically and internationally.

Hinoki Chip Pillow
Filled 100% with natural hinoki (Japanese cypress) chips made from thinned timber,
carefully selected to support forest conservation. Known for their excellent breathability and moisture control, the chips also offer a calming aroma that promotes restful sleep, along with deodorizing, antibacterial, and insect-repellent properties.
Pillow height can be adjusted using the side ties or zipper. The cover is washable and available in soothing, traditional Japanese colors.

Carefully handmade by craftsmen at Mori Seimenjo, using luxurious hemp filling, traditional "chusen"-dyed yukata fabric from Marukyu Shoten, and Enshu cotton.
The classic patterns blend beautifully into both Japanese and Western-style rooms,
offering the rich texture that only handcrafted items can provide.
Lightweight at just 0.3 kg and measuring 100 × 70 cm, perfect for naps or reading. Machine washable and easy to store compactly, making it both practical and stylish.
