Yamamoto-Noriten

Snack Nori(Wasabi & sesame/ Seasoned Cod roe)

Founded in 1849 in Nihonbashi. We are a laver specialty store with a "laver-only" philosophy.

In 1869, we invented Ajitsuke Nori (seasoned laver), and in 1965, we opened the first drive-in restaurant in Japan, among many other challenges throughout our long history.

We offer a wide range of products from gifts to products that can be enjoyed at home, such as its signature product "Ume-no-Hana," made from seaweed graded according to its own standards, and "Otsumami Nori," which can be enjoyed as a snack.

Snack Nori(Wasabi & sesame/ Seasoned Cod roe)

Otsumami Nori is thinner than standard seasoned nori, making it easier for women to eat. Because it is well seasoned, it goes well with beer, sake, and other alcoholic beverages.

It can be enjoyed not only as a snack, but also cut into chunks and added to dishes such as salads, pasta, ochazuke (rice with green tea), and salad dressings to accentuate the flavor. This product is popular as a gift or a thoughtful gift.
