Japanese beauty manufacturer LOUVREDO has been providing beauty products and techniques that lead to fundamental beauty for 20 years. The new model of this product that is pre-launched at the Haneda JMC store is a custom-made product created in collaboration with a traditional Japanese craft.

LOUVREDO's unique technology incorporates natural ores with high far-infrared radiation rate into each pin. From the gray cushioning part, which has excellent resilience, negative ions are released. This dramatically enhances the effects of brushing, making your hair manageable, shiny, and tame, and leads to beautiful hair.

The handle of the hairbrush is handcrafted by Noriyuki Shimizu, a woodcraft artisan in Hida Takayama, Gifu Prefecture whose techniques are also used in furniture supplied to the Imperial Family. The beech wood used was selected for its beautiful grain, good texture, and excellent hardness. This material is coated with a plant-based natural paint called ' natural lacquer-urushi'.

The lacquer is supervised and produced by Gato Mikio, a company established over 100 years ago in Yamanaka Onsen, Ishikawa Prefecture. They have been developing sophisticated lacquerware for modern lifestyles based on the tradition of Yamanaka lacquerware passed down from generation to generation.

Wood Brush: woodcraft artisans in Hida Takayama Takumi is a brush made by craftsmen with traditional woodworking skills from the Hida region of Gifu Prefecture. They use high quality wood and precise techniques to produce furniture, fittings, and crafts.

Woodworking in Hida Takayama began in the Edo period. Especially in the 18th century, when the town flourished, woodworking techniques developed along with commercial activities and a wide variety of products were produced.

The artisans of Hida Takayama are not merely craftsmen, they are symbolic of the region's culture and history and their skills and passion are still passed down to many people today.

LacquerWajima lacquer craftsmen are the masters of traditional lacquer painting techniques in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture. Wajima lacquerware is highly regarded for its beauty and durability, and is known as one of Japan's traditional crafts.

Wajima-nuri is characterized by the careful application of layers of lacquer to the underlying wood. The beautiful finish is achieved through the use of fine carvings and decorations using gold and silver powder, which take advantage of the characteristics of lacquer. Wajima's lacquer craftsmen combine skill and artistry, and their works continue to be loved throughout the long history of the craft.
