It all began with a three-seat barbershop founded in Atsugi in 1946.

The name “uka” comes from the Japanese word for “metamorphosis,” when a chrysalis becomes a butterfly.

Just as butterflies help flowers pollinate by fluttering from one to another, we wish to spread beauty throughout the world.

We operate total beauty salons offering hair care, nail care, head spa treatments, esthetics, and eyelash services.

From these salons, we’ve developed a range of home care products, focusing on plant-based ingredients—providing total beauty from hair care to nail and body care.
