HATENKO
Launched in 2025 by Kyara Innovate Co., Ltd., the perfume brand "HATENKO" recreates Japanese tradition and innovation through scent. It brings together artisanal techniques, including the world's first perfume bottle cap made using the "Kiso Hinoki x Kaga Yuzen" technique, and five fragrances inspired by ukiyo-e (Japanese woodblock prints): "Hanabi," "Isonami," "Odorodoro," "Sakigake," and "Sakurafubuki." Using aloeswood and Kiso Hinoki leaf essential oils as a common base, the scent evokes scenes of Edo culture. The brand embodies "tradition and challenge" with unconventional designs in the paper packaging, bottles, and even the design.
