MARUCHO
A lightweight set crafted from Cupra Balancer Circular® fabric. Knitted on rare machinery, this jersey-like material possesses a woven-fabric texture while offering stretch, shape retention, and a cooling touch. Using the specialized Mlock® sewing machine, seams are minimized to the absolute limit, reducing skin contact for exceptional comfort and a beautiful appearance.
A dolman-sleeve cardigan crafted from wool Balancircular® fabric, knitted on rare machines found in only a handful of locations in Japan. Though made from jersey material, it combines the texture and stretch of knitwear with stable shape retention. The Mcover® special sewing technique creates a beautiful, comfortable finish on both sides. Featuring delicate stitching reminiscent of linking, this is a new knitwear item proposed by GGG.
GGG's signature 100% cotton, high-gauge smooth fabric undergoes a special brushing process underwater, resulting in a soft, supple texture reminiscent of a baby's skin.
Using a specialized sewing machine (Mlock®), the seam allowance required for stitching is minimized to the absolute limit, fully showcasing the fabric's inherent quality. This approach creates a visually appealing garment while minimizing direct skin contact, prioritizing lightweight comfort and wearability.
Marucho Co., Ltd. was founded in 1954. Based in Sumida Ward, Tokyo, we produce clothing imbued with our philosophy of thread and stitching—from T-shirts to jackets—100% domestically at our own factory, MARUCHO-WORKS.
The beautiful stitching, woven by artisans' handiwork and uniquely modified special sewing machines, possesses the power to transform not just clothing, but the wearer's very presence.
Supporting domestic and international brands through OEM and ODM, in 2021 we launched our own brand embodying our philosophy:
“GOOD PEOPLE GOOD STITCHING GOOD PRODUCT.”
Transcending the boundaries of a sewing factory, we continue to deliver Japan's sewing aesthetics to the next generation.
Place of Production: Daisen City, Akita Prefecture
Daisen City, Akita Prefecture, once a farming town. After the war, the light of manufacturing was kindled, and sewing that began in homes eventually became the town's industry. Hands that once worked thread during the agricultural off-season grew more precise with time, transforming the town into a sewing hub supporting urban apparel.
Even now, those hands sew garments with quiet certainty, sending world-class pieces from this small town. Craftsmanship, sincerity, and an eye for the environment. Daisen's sewing holds the power to stitch the future.
