KOSHIRAERU
The “祈水 KISUI – Black Collection” by KOSHIRAERU presents one-of-a-kind wooden sculptures born from a dialogue with natural grain. Crafted from Yakusugi cedar, camphor, and tabunoki from Kagoshima, each piece is brought to life through traditional mud-dyeing techniques.
Inspired by the flow of water and the graceful forms of birds, these accessories and art pieces embrace the spirit of each wood—no two are ever the same.
Imbued with prayerful intent and fleeting moments, the creations harmonize with nature when worn, weaving quiet stories and layers of meaning into everyday life.

Kirishima, blessed with rich forests, clear waters, volcanoes, and hot springs, nurtures precious woods such as Yakusugi cedar. Here, KOSHIRAERU engages in dialogue with the grain and character of wood, while drawing on the mud-dyeing traditions of Amami Ōshima to create distinctive textures.
Rooted in the cycles of nature, prayerful intent, and fleeting moments, KOSHIRAERU’s works resonate deeply with the spirit of Kirishima and carry the story of this land to the world.
