ANOUK

ANOUK pieces have been crafted in Japan since the 1970s by master artisans in small quantities. Each bag is fully hand-cut and hand-stitched without glue, completed start to finish by one artisan. Rooted in couture spirit born in Cannes and refined in Europe, ANOUK pursues harmony between function and beauty. We use only the finest baby lamb leather, prized for its rare softness, lightness, and elegant texture. Every piece is made entirely by hand and takes one week to finish. A hand-painted glass charm in each pocket reflects the maker’s sense and soul—an expression of Japanese artistry and devotion.

Founded in 1979 in Tokyo’s Nogizaka district, the predecessor of B.O.D, Kaniwa Tokio, began as a boutique where the owner personally traveled across Europe, meeting artisans and curating exceptional pieces. Today, B.O.D presents original creations including ANOUK, continuing a legacy rooted in craftsmanship and emotion. From Paris to Cannes to Tokyo, the brand has evolved through encounters, memories, and dialogue with nature and people. Each piece is a crystallization of life’s journeys and stories—an expression of timeless artistry and refined spirit.

Since the 1970s, ANOUK has been meticulously crafted in small quantities by skilled Japanese artisans. Rooted in the haute couture spirit born in Cannes and refined in Europe, ANOUK pursues perfect harmony between function and beauty. Made from the world’s finest and rarest baby lamb leather—light, supple, and exquisitely soft—each creation takes a full week to complete, entirely by hand.
