Untoned 3.5 mm Akoya pearls, 8 grains (a single row) and 12 grains (a double row) are combined with matte and luster to create a beautiful contrast with 18K.

It can be worn in a wide range of ways, from casual to formal styles, and is elegant yet impactful.

Baby pearls (small pearls of 5 mm or less) are becoming increasingly popular because they are easy to use. However, they are also very rare, and are currently produced only in Ago Bay in Shima City in Japan.

Drilling and other processing to prevent small baby pearls from cracking requires more advanced technology than large pearls.

In addition, in order to produce small Akoya pearls, it is necessary to insert multiple small nuclei into the mother oyster, and the tools used are also highly specialized. Even with precise technology and given a long time, the number that can be harvested is very small. In total it amounts to less than 1% of pearl production in Japan.

From among such rare baby pearls, jewelry designer Mr. Deguchi selects each one for its luster and shape, and only high-quality pearls are used.
