This open-necked shirt with dragons is made from five silk scarves with a beautiful sheen and supple texture

This piece, decorated with a mysterious dragon motif, was designed by KANSAI YAMAMOTO, one of Japan's leading fashion brands.Traditional motifs such as waves and biwa (a Japanese lute) are scattered throughout, harmonizing beautifully.

The dragon-themed design was newly created, inspired by the lining of a Haori coat owned by KANSAI YAMAMOTO, INC.

The scarves used for the shirts were crafted by  Marca Co., Ltd. of Yokohama. 
Many of the production processes are delicately and carefully executed by skilled artisans. 

The printing method, called hand screen printing, uses stencils to apply each color one by one, ensuring an even and consistent application of the dye. This technique allows for intricate and delicate patterns to be printed with sharp detail and rich, deep colors.
