A souvenir jacket with a skull mark made with delicate hand-crafted button art

This jacket was created through a collaboration between button jewelry artist Yuko Katayama and the Japanese fashion brands "KANSAI YAMAMOTO" and "KORI-SHOW PROJECT".

The souvenir jacket known as the "Sukajan" became popular after World War II when American soldiers stationed in Japan brought it back to their home country as a "souvenir from Japan."

The “Sukajan,” a uniquely Japanese hybrid of a jacket imitating a baseball jacket and embroidered with motifs derived from Japanese clothing, is expressed in a high-quality “Sashiko” fabric used for Judo wear.

The distinctive motif—a skull design hand-drawn by Kansai Yamamoto—is intricately sewn by Japan's only button jewelry artist, Yuko Katayama, using eco-friendly casein buttons, all crafted by hand.

The unique design features an endearingly charming skeleton expressed through buttons. The lining is 100% silk, ensuring comfortable wear.
