The largest share of denim production in Japan is based in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

Fukuyama City is home to many factories that produce OEM denim for luxury foreign brands, and seven of these factories have come together to form F.F.G.(F.F.G stands for Fukuyama Factory Guild).

F.F.G. denim pants are characterized by high quality at a reasonable price and excellent comfort.

The warp threads are woven with soft and elastic yarns for a comfortable fit. The use of vintage sewing machines, such as Union Special machines from 60 to 90 years ago, allows for an unparalleled change over time.

F.F.G.'s denim color is pure indigo. The yarn is not dyed all the way to the core, leaving the original white parts to give a real used look as the owner wears the garment. The dyeing process uses less cleaning chemicals and washes with electrolyzed water to reduce the burden on the environment.

The yarns of F.F.G.'s denim pants are spun using a special technique called "compact," in which the yarns are loosened by twisting and spinning and held in place by the force of air, resulting in a fabric that is resistant to flaking. The weave is tightened and woven on an old-fashioned loom to achieve a firm yet soft fit.

Denim fabrics are sewn by skilled craftsmen, one process at a time. Vintage sewing machines require skill to operate, but can produce textures that cannot be achieved with modern technology.
