An aroma candle evoking Japanese aesthetic sensibilities.

An aroma candle inspired by Japan's unique aesthetic sense, which finds beauty in landscapes that might seem overlooked at first glance.

To enhance the gentle diffusion of fragrance and the soft, even flame, we use a blend of 100% natural soy wax and urushi wax.

The fragrances, which are uniquely crafted by unraveling Japan's culture, history, and natural environment, include three types: 'Akikaze' 'Miyamagi' 'Kimorigaki' These scents have been cherished since the Heian period.

Heian period is a historical era in Japan that lasted from 794 to 1185 AD. It is known for its flourishing culture, including the development of Japanese art, literature, and the establishment of a highly refined court society.

Three types of aroma candles.

Akikaze

This fragrance, inspired by the representative scent 'Jijyu' from the Heian period’s popular scented pastes, evokes the image of autumn breezes.

The top and middle notes feature the lush sweetness of floral scents like tuberose, while the base notes consist of calming amber and clove, reminiscent of autumn evenings. The pale yellow-red and white brushstrokes on the container represent the late autumn world and the breeze within it.

Miyamagi

Inspired by the misty and mysterious scenery unique to Japan, which is blessed with many mountains and forests.

The top and middle notes include scents of pine needles and patchouli, evoking green and earthy tones, while the base notes are composed of sandalwood and oakmoss, reminiscent of the trees and dampness found deep in the mountains. The container design represents a deep green world of mountain foliage and moss, along with the atmosphere of trees and moist soil.

Kimorigaki

Kimorigaki refers to an old tradition where, after the harvest of persimmons is complete, one or two fruits are left on the tree as a charm to ensure a good harvest the following year.

The top and middle notes feature a fruity aroma centered around persimmons, creating a rustic sweetness of fruit. The base notes consist of musk and cedarwood, evoking the imagery of a winter-bare landscape. The container’s gradient of white and brown-black represents the snowfall that accumulates in the midst of winter after the persimmon harvest is complete.
