Galuchat — crafted from the hide of the red stingray — is roughly ten times tougher than cowhide, naturally resistant to water and scratches, and requires no conditioning or treatment of any kind. The bead-like scales, composed primarily of calcium phosphate — the same mineral found in human teeth — polish naturally through friction, growing more luminous the more the wallet is used.
