Nakano Kagaku is a metal surface-finishing company founded in 1956 in Tsubame, Niigata, Japan's center of metalworking for more than 400 years. Using electrical and chemical techniques, it draws color and texture out of the metal itself, without relying on paint or coating.

In 2017, the company launched its own brand to share these finishing techniques, and the metalworking craft of the Tsubame-Sanjo region, through everyday products.
