Watanabe Pile

Towels · Imabari, Ehime

Watanabe Pile has been weaving towels in Imabari, Japan's renowned towel-making region, since 1963. Every piece is made with one wish: a towel that makes today a little softer.

Their craft begins with the cotton itself. Each series is named for where its cotton is grown, from silky Bangalore organic to long-staple San Joaquin.
