Aroma candle · soy wax & urushi wax · ceramic vessel
An aroma candle inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of finding beauty in landscapes that might seem unremarkable at first glance. The wax is a blend of 100% natural soy wax and urushi wax — chosen to support gentle fragrance diffusion and a soft, even flame.

The three fragrances — Akikaze, Miyamagi, and Kimorigaki — are uniquely crafted by drawing on Japan's culture, history, and natural environment. Each evokes a scent tradition cherished since the Heian period (794–1185 AD), an era defined by a highly refined aesthetic culture and a deep attunement to the natural world.
Akikaze — Autumn Breeze
Inspired by Jijyu, a celebrated scented paste from the Heian period, this fragrance evokes the feeling of autumn wind. Top and middle notes bring the lush sweetness of tuberose and other florals; the base notes settle into calming amber and clove, reminiscent of an autumn evening. The container's pale yellow-red and white brushstrokes represent the late autumn world and the breeze within it.

Miyamagi — Mountain Forest
Inspired by the misty, layered scenery of Japan's mountains and forests. Pine needles and patchouli open the fragrance with green and earthy tones; sandalwood and oakmoss in the base evoke the damp depth of old-growth trees. The container is painted in deep greens to reflect mountain foliage, moss, and the atmosphere of moist soil.

Kimorigaki — Persimmon Left for the Birds
Kimorigaki refers to the old custom of leaving one or two persimmons on the tree after harvest — an offering to ensure a good yield the following year. The fragrance opens with a fruity, rustic sweetness centered on persimmon; musk and cedarwood in the base evoke a bare winter landscape. The container's gradient of white and brown-black represents snow settling over the fields after the harvest is done.
